Explore the interim performance task assessments available for Grades 3–5 and how they can be used to build students’ confidence with complex, multi-step problems. General education and special education teachers will examine sense-making routines that help students understand the context, identify important information, and determine what the task is asking before beginning to solve. This is Session 1 of a two-part series, and participants are encouraged to attend both sessions because the strategies are designed to work together.
