Continue the LEUSD Writes! launch with Day 2 of Releasing Writers (formerly Think SRSD).In this session, teachers will learn the instructional process for informational writing and explore what weekly writing routines look like in the classroom. Participants will experience what a week of instruction looks like as learners and leave with a clearer understanding of how to structure lessons across the week to support student independence and success.Through guided practice and collaboration, teachers will plan for implementation and identify practical ways to integrate these routines into their existing writing block.Please bring your National Geographic materials and any informational writing units you plan to teach in September, as this session will focus on planning for informational writing instruction.Lunch will be provided. Attendance on both Day 1 and Day 2 is strongly recommended to ensure a strong and cohesive launch of the instructional process. Must have 10 people signed up to run
