For participants of LEUSD LETRS Cohort #5 only. This in-person meeting will review what you have learned in Unit 5 through your online coursework and textbook reading. Please be sure to bring your LETRS manuals, student work samples specific to the Unit (from your Bridge to Practice), and curriculum scope and sequence. Lunch will be provided.
Explore strategies for helping students make sense of, engage with, and persist through multi-step performance tasks. General education and special education teachers will learn ways to build student confidence, independence, and productive perseverance without reducing the cognitive demand of the task.
