Please bring your teacher laptop as this is a hands-on tutorial workshop.
This session is specific to secondary teachers who will use Canvas as their primary gradebook and sync it with Infinite Campus gradebook.

This workshop will guide you step-by-step through setting up Infinite Campus and Canvas gradebooks so they sync automatically. You will follow a live tutorial with time included to complete each step as we go. We will also walk through the most common syncing issues and how to avoid them.

You will leave with:
1. Gradebooks set up to sync between IC and Canvas
2. Access to the updated tutorial presentation
3. Clear troubleshooting tips you can use throughout the year
4. Who to contact when you have question

As more curriculum and tools move online, this session gives you the support, time, and compensation needed to set up your gradebooks efficiently and confidently.

Join us for a two-day launch of LEUSD Writes!, focused on practical, evidence-based writing instruction that helps students take ownership of their work. This session will model a structured process students can use to lead themselves through writing—from generating ideas to revising with purpose.Through hands-on learning, teachers will experience the process as learners and apply it directly to their own classroom content. Leave with clear routines and tools to support more independent, capable writers.This launch is just the beginning. Ongoing professional learning will support teachers as we continue this work across the three writing genres in elementary.

Crisis Prevention Institute - During the 2026-2027 school year we are offering this training to individuals in the following groups: Principals, Assistant Principals, Counselors, Psychologists, SELSP, ERMHS Staff, AES, Special Education Paraeducators, Campus Safety Supervisors, Teachers and any staff working with our students who want to learn techniques of de-escalation, and problem solving and decision-making skills. You will learn how to recognize the level of risk and apply the most appropriate verbal and/or physical interventions. Participants should be able to: improve decision making, minimize physical interventions, gain the confidence to recognize risk behaviors and respond to defensive behaviors, understand what is behind behaviors and address the needs of the individual.

Unpack Grade 5 Unit 1, Volume, and prepare for a strong start to the year. Participants will study the mathematics of the unit, consider the lesson progression across describing, determining, and applying volume of rectangular prisms and composed figures, begin organizing materials and planning for instruction, and look at differentiation across the unit.

This session may be beneficial for grade 5 general education and special education teachers.

Join us for an introduction to the tools available in Footsteps 2 Brilliance. Learn how to utilize these as supplemental resources that aide your instruction, centers, and at-home activities.

This optional session helps elementary teachers organize gradebook tools for posting periods. There is no MOU that requires elementary teachers to maintain a gradebook. The only expectation is to post unsatisfactory progress notices, progress reports, and semester report cards. 
We will review your options such as Seesaw, Canvas, and Infinite Campus. If you choose to use Canvas, you can set it up in any format that works for you. Canvas is the platform we will spend time on during this optional support-only session.
